Exhibition & PUBLIC WORKSHOPS
I exhibited at Rockhampton Museum of Art as part of the group show ‘State of the Art’ in July 2025, creating a large-scale wall quilt made from 95,000 dead stock and redirected melty beads, alongside a handmade melty bead daisy dress.
In creating these works, I was inspired by my suburban Brisbane life, the quiet rhythms of everyday routines, and the often-overlooked acts of domestic labour. I wanted to explore how magic can be found in small, ordinary moments and how repetition and care can transform the mundane into something joyful and meaningful.
I was also invited to show some of my costume works, hand-crafted pom-pom swing, tinsel installations and to hosted a series of workshops on creative art play. Alongside this, I produced a zine celebrating the spirit of the city and collaborated with the Rockhampton River Festival to create a joyful public swing installation for the community.
