UNDER THE NEON MOON

Under the Neon Moon was inspired by my travels through Seoul and South Korea in 2023, where I found endless delight in everyday ephemera, candy-coloured packaging, trinkets, and moments of wonder. Created as an immersive installation for the Affordable Art Fair, this body of work celebrates collecting, nostalgia, and the joy of discovering magic in the smallest details.

Drawn to the playful abundance of markets, convenience stores, and souvenir shops, I became fascinated by the objects people treasure and carry home. Through embedding, sealing, and via the repetitive creation of canvases the installation transforms these fleeting discoveries into a dreamlike landscape of delight.
